Get Married Where the Wild Things Are
A private bush ceremony, a Big Five safari, sunset wedding photographs, an African feast beneath the stars, and an unforgettable weekend with your favourite people — carefully organised for you from beginning to end.
Intimate Safari Weddings
Exclusively for weddings of up to 60 guests — no massive wedding hall, no hundreds of strangers, no conventional wedding formula. Just the people closest to you, the African bush, incredible wildlife, and an entire safari experience built around your wedding.
Six Reasons Couples Choose the Bush
This isn’t a wedding venue decorated to look African — it’s a genuine safari environment, built entirely around weddings of a size you can actually remember.
Maximum 60 Guests
This isn’t a restriction — it’s the product.
“Big enough for everyone who matters. Small enough to remember every face.”Genuine Big Five Country
Manyeleti is genuine Big Five territory, with regular elephant and buffalo activity around Ndzhaka’s own waterhole.
Wedding + Safari
Your guests aren’t just attending your wedding — they’re going on safari.
An Entire Wedding Weekend
Arrival, safari, braai, wedding, safari, reception, breakfast — a full destination weekend, not a six-hour booking.
All-Inclusive
One coordinated package, not twelve different suppliers to chase and manage yourselves.
Extremely Photographic
Bush ceremony, safari vehicle, golden hour, wildlife, firelight, African sunset — the setting does the work for you.
A 3-Day, 2-Night Bush Wedding
Couples aren’t coming to Ndzhaka for six hours. You’re bringing your closest friends and family into the bush for an entire wedding experience.
- Guest arrival and transfers into the Greater Kruger region
- Welcome drinks and check-in
- Afternoon Big Five safari, with sundowner drinks out in the bush
- Welcome bush braai and firepit evening — introductions, speeches, relaxed dress code
- Optional sunrise game drive, followed by a bush breakfast and leisure time
- Bridal preparation and the groom’s breakfast, alongside photography preparation
- Light lunch, before the camp transitions into wedding mode
- The bush ceremony, the signature safari-and-sundowner sequence, and the reception — each detailed below
Scroll down for the ceremony, the signature Ndzhaka moment, and the reception in full.
- Morning coffee, with an optional sunrise safari for those who are up for it
- Champagne bush breakfast — a proper wedding recovery breakfast for the whole group
- Group photographs before farewells and departure
This is what makes it feel like a destination wedding rather than a single event.
The Bush Ceremony
Kept deliberately natural and understated. A secluded ceremony setting under the trees, where the bush remains the décor — this is a genuine safari environment, not a conventional venue transported into the wild.
- Wooden chairs
- Natural timber structure
- Neutral linen
- Indigenous foliage
- Bush aisle
- Signing table & PA system
“I Do” → Safari → Sundowners → Reception
Immediately after the ceremony, the bride and groom leave on a private safari vehicle with the photographer for their wedding shoot, while guests depart for a short sunset game drive of their own. Everyone meets back at camp for the reception — a sequence conventional venues simply cannot reproduce.
The bride and groom’s private safari vehicle, moments after “I do”.
Exact timing shifts seasonally with sunset — your coordinator will confirm the schedule for your date.
Dinner Under the African Sky
Long tables. Lanterns. Candles. Warm festoon lighting. Fire. Bush. Nothing excessive — the setting is doing most of the work.
